Watch it GROW

These pictures are two weeks apart! It has been so exciting watching everything grow. I can't wait to cut into all those yummy veggies. The big plants came as starts and the little rows in the front we started from seeds. We have winter squash, cucumber, zucchini, yellow squash, cherry tomato, two regular tomato plants, hot pepper, and a jalapeno. The seeds are snap pea, spinach, and swiss chard. I am planning on learning how to can tomatoes this year, so I can have fresh homemade sauces all year. Freezer jam is something else I am interested in learning, but I am not sure there will be enough strawberries this year. Anything I can do to stock the cupboards is worth the time :) I am hoping that having all these fresh veggies will inspire my family to eat them more. I love them and will be experimenting with new recipes to convince my family that they like veggies too!

  1. Wow! Your garden totally grew when you were gone.. that's awesome! And your beds look amazing! I'm jealous. :)
